Congress MP Shashi Tharoor at last responds to reports of him joining BJP - Here's what he said

Thiruvananthapuram: Congress MP and previous Union Minister Shashi Tharoor on Sunday at last responded to the reports that he was joining the BJP.

"For 40+years I have talked and written with regards to a pluralist India with equivalent rights for every one of its nationals and groups," Tharoor, additionally a previous UN negotiator, said.

"On this, no bargain. Gossipy tidbits about my joining BJP have been drifted intermittently with no premise at all. I deny them completely and without capability," he said.

The Congress MP's illumination comes in the scenery of an announcement by CPI(M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan that four Congress pioneers, including Tharoor, wanted to join the BJP.

Balakrishnan had said there are reports that four Congress pioneers from Kerala are joining the BJP and that KPCC president M Hassan had said that one of them was Tharoor.

Be that as it may, Hassan denied having made any such comments when reached.

"At the point when media people got some information about four Congress pioneers joining the BJP has gone to his notice, I said there is no such thing," Hassan said.

"There are no fortune searchers in Kerala like S M Krishna and Jaffer Sharif," the KPCC president said.

Tharoor battled for the Congress-drove UDF contender for the April 12 bypoll in Malappuram, Hassan said.
