Kerala serve draws rage for calling IAS officer "distraught"



Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Power Minister MM Mani has drawn rage for calling an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer "distraught", specialists said on Sunday.

"In Idukki, a large portion of the religious foundations are situated on terrains that don't have an unmistakable title deed. He (Venkitaraman) is a maniac and he ought to be sent to Oolampara (mental doctor's facility in Thiruvananthapuram)," the priest said.

Idukki, particularly the beautiful slope station of Munnar, has been in the news for as far back as one week after Venkitaraman took to recouping usurped lands.

Previous state Congress President A.V.M. Sudheeran pummeled Mani's comments against the youthful managerial officer.

"Mani's announcement against the youthful IAS officer leaves educated Kerala in shambles and he has now turned into a risk and disgrace for the state," said Sudheeran on Sunday.
